English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) is one of the local English test that is held by UPT Bahasa UPNVJ to measure English skill.

ELPT is a local English test by UPT Bahasa UPNVJ test to measure English skill for general participants and the UPNVJ academic community that is accepted nationally. ELPT certificate can be accepted as:

  • Prerequisites for graduation at each university (UPNVJ included)
  • Administrative requirements for career support (national scale)
  • Administrative requirements for scholarship application (national scale)

ELPT SCHEDULE

Arrangements:

  1. Test is in Paper Based Test format and done on site (in designated place, offline).
  2. Test will be held if the number of participants reach the minimum quota (12 people).
  3. Registration cannot be done on the day of test.
  4. Score would be issued out within 3 working days after test.
  5. Certificate would be sent 2 working days after filling in certificate. submission below
  6. ELPT fee is non-refundable.
  7. Rescheduling is allowed until 2 days before test, changing the schedule 1 day before test would result in forfeited registration.
  8. Participant is allowed to retake the test 2 weeks minimum after the last test.
  9. Participant has to come 10 minutes before test, lateness would result in unable to take the test for the said session.

Registration Steps:

  1. Create your own account on payment website https://kegiatan.upnvj.ac.id/.
  2. Choose ELPT Reguler in the activity section and pay the fee via BNI or any eligible bank to get your billing number and proof of payment.
  3. Go back to this website and choose which schedule fit you the best.
  4. Fill in the form and join in the Whatsapp group from the link on the last page of the form.

1 Could ELPT certificate be used to apply for work?

Yes, it could, as long as the requirement does not mention official certificate from TOEFL ITP.

2 What is the difference between ELPT dan TOEFL ITP?

ELPT (English Language Proficiency Test) is one of the local English tests that is held by UPT Bahasa UPNVJ to measure English skill and the certificate could only be used nationally. Meanwhile TOEFL® ITP is one of the tests for measuring English competency published by ETS (Educational Testing Service), an English skill competency test provider based in Princeton, United States. The certificate could be used internationally.

3 When is the good time to take ELPT for students of UPNVJ?

ELPT could be taken since 2nd semester for students of UPNVJ.
